Welcome!
Murmuration Theatre Company is an independent not-for-profit arts collective based out of Brooklyn, dedicated to fostering the development of early-career NYC artists. We're led by some pretty rad women and queer folks, and we like to work on projects that feel contemporary, inventive, and that ask interesting questions.
How do we operate? A typical year includes one full length production and a showcase of one-act plays from emerging playwrights, as well as a handful of staged readings and/or workshops for plays-in-development.

"Very welcoming environment and championing of creativity...I loved the conversations that were had and the trust in the actors to do the thing. I never felt like I was being coached, but rather being collaborated with."
"This was an absolute dream of a process... everyone was genuine and kind and ready to work. It's unfortunately rare in this industry to be able to cultivate such a positive space, but this process was nothing short of wonderful through and through."
